Angel Food

Angel Food is an outreach ministry that blesses all people, helps meet the needs in the local community, and draws members of our community to our church. Everyone qualifies for this program. It is open to members, and non-members. Please help spread the word to your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and acquaintances.

Participants save money (40% - 60%) on their food budget. Money saved purchasing food makes more funds available for other household needs and provides more seed money to sow into your church, your ministries, and unto others in need.

You are encouraged to purchase food for personal use or to donate this food to members of your community knowing that the food provided is:
• High Quality “restaurant grade”
• Supplied by the best producers/ vendors
• Name brand
• Never seconds or day old

Angel Food Menus:

Each month there are standard menu items that you will receive for one low price. There are also monthly specials.

Menus change each month and are available in advance. You can locate a menu:
• In your previous month’s order
• In The Bridge

• In the church office
• Download a menu: September 2010

Orders
To place your order, simply decide the number of standard menu cases and number of specials you will purchase. Bring cash, check, or food stamps to The Bridge on a Tuesday and Thursday listed below. Orders will be taken on those dates from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Payment is due at the time of order.

Each month there is an order deadline. Orders must be received by the deadline to ensure delivery for the monthly distribution. Those who place orders, may pick up their food at The Bridge on the distribution Saturday listed below between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. You must have your receipt and provide a large box, basket, or bin to pick up and receive your orders.

Anyone interested in volunteering opportunities for this ministry is welcome to contact John Fuller, angel food ministry coordinator, or to discuss the opportunities with the volunteers taking orders at The Bridge on Tuesdays and Thursdays when orders are being taken.
