Men’s Groups
United Methodist Men (UMM)
An organization of men who meet monthly for fellowship and service. They often take on projects to give back and support the Church. They also plan sporting events like golf and clay shoots. Contact David Copeland for more information. Meetings begin at 8:00 at the Bridge and include breakfast.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
An organization of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. There are 3 different UMW groups:
ESTHER CIRCLE
This is a very diverse age group that is very active in church and mission events. They are very supportive of activities going on in the church and serve on various church committees. Esther Circle meetings begin with a devotional, refreshments and a meaningful program. They meet September - May. 2nd Monday of each month. 10:00 am. Rotate meeting in homes
MARTHA CIRCLE
The night circle is perfect for working women. Meetings take place in members’ homes and include a devotional, refreshments and program each time. Members serve on various committees in the church. They meet September - May. 2nd Monday of each month. 7:00 pm. Rotate meeting in homes
SARAH CIRCLE
This is a more service-oriented group that prefers to have “active” service opportunities in place of an actual meeting. Meetings take place in members’ homes and include a devotional, refreshments and a program. The Sarah Circle works the Soup Bowl quarterly, assists with Angel Tree Day Camp and helps with other service events in the church as well as the community. They meet September - May. 2nd Thursday of each month. 9:00 am. Rotate meeting in homes
